My name is Zoey, this is my website you've somehow stumbled upon. To tell you a bit about myself, I'm a full time student studying programming and game design. In my spare time I am freelance 3D artist specializing in characters for use in video games and other interactive 3D experiences. I have over ten years of experience with Blender and Unity and I'm also self taught in Substance Painter. with these skills I create custom objects for clients.

For more personal stuff such as my hobbies and interest I'm very interested in technology of all kinds. I have a pretty powerful computer given I do but I think the most exciting piece of hardware I own is my Quest Pro VR Headset. Outside of technology I am a big music fan. I listen to almost anything but I'm especially fond of Hyper Pop, Hip Hop and EDM. In mid November I'm going to be seeing Jane Remover live, an alternative music artist and I'm so excited. Their album Revengeseekers is without a doubt my favourite album of 2025 so getting to hear it live is going to be magical I'm sure.

The reason I do what I do is because I love gaming and I love being creative so being an artist in games feels like the perfect blend of the two. Games are such a powerful and unique medium for story telling truly allowing players to immerse themselves in worlds totally different to our own. To me narritive is the most important part of a game, getting to tell stories through things like the environment, character and UX design really appeals to me as a story teller. I think what makes a really great story is when all of the elements within it are informed based on the themes presented by the story.

I am self taught in the likes of Unity, Blender and Substance Painter because ever since a kid I wanted to make my own games, so I looked up how to make a game and was pointed in the direction of unity at the age of 10. Like most aspiring game designers nothing much came out of it in terms of finished projects but I had fun and that was the most important thing to me. It also shaped the path I would choose to go down after secondary school and has netted me some money through the commissions I take.
